I've been seeing a buzz on the internet for the past few days. It looks like there is a good chance of a Supernatural con in Brazil either this or the next year. Still hearing to hear more news after the holiday, but if this is true, then look at the icon to see what I think. Now I only need two things: money to go and someone to go with me. I don't want to go to my first con alone.
Fingers crossed the con really works out.

Last day of vacations...
Jan. 5th, 2010 12:37 pmThis is it. The end. Time to go back to RL. *cries* And RL will be though this year. I still don't have money for uni and transport and I already need to pay the first instalment.
Also, I'd like to thank my friend Alexandre, not in LJ, for the great present he sent me. All the extended versions of LotR!!! OMG!!! *squishes him* Awesome!
And if RL and a gigazillion projects weren't enough, I'm going to sign up for the AU Big Bang. I've had this idea for a John and Ronon AU fic for a while now and this Big Bang (and deadline) is just what I need to get going. And yes, it is a totally new project that isn't in my list of future fics. *hangs head in shame* I'm hopeless. I hope I'm forgiven, but it just returned full force when I found out about this challenge and, God! I'm now putting The World You Know on possible hold until I write this one. My muse just slammed!

Why do I do this to myself?

I should have done this before, but it slipped through me. The amazing
sheppard4lily made me three GIANT walls for my brother's HUGE screen. They are 1600x1050 and FANTASTIC! Go over there and give her praise, saying how awesome she is with the real size whumped Shep walls.
ETA: Her LJ is friends only, so only the ones in her flist can see the walls. I asked her if I can repost, but I'm waiting for an aswer.

I remembered what I was going to post!!!
Dec. 15th, 2009 05:00 pmOMG! OMG! OMG! I remembered! I found my Thoughtcrimes and A Dog's Breakfast DVD! They were in the same disc and I had lost them, but now I have it! Thanks to my nephew Gabriel that needs to snatch everything he sees. How could I know that it was stuffed in my brothers CD case? Weeeee!!! Of course, I had already gotten both again, but it is so satisfying to be able to grab the dispearing DVD!
This is my last week before vacations!!! OMG!!! Weeeeee!!! I have a ton of fics to read and I'll try to do it in the next two weeks. Also, I intend to do A LOT of writing.
Talking about writing, I'm starting to get a little bored of my story. It's a good story and a good plot, but I need SOMETHING to happen. I've reached the midway through and it's just talking and talking and talking... I need a bit of action, but I can't come up with anything. *sighs* The situation they're in right now is not very actiony and there are little options on how to add some. *bangs head against wall* It's getting frustrating...
Oh, oh, oh. I had a job interview today in the school I had already worked in before. I already have something for next year. I really liked the changes they made in the school since I left. I'm really looking forward. If everything turns out as I was promised, then I'll have plenty of motivation. (Let's just hope the money is also a motivation, instead of not --> my case now).

I just found out what the filming crew was doing *right* in front of my house. The house *right* in front of mine won an extreme makover. The cameras were filming it inside and outside for most of the morning while the demolition crew waited outside with the moving crew.
Then none other than Gugu freaking Liberato came in. Of course, none of you have a clue who this guys is, but is one of the *most* famous celebrities of the country. When I say that, I'm not saying one of the top ten, or the top five, I'm saying one of the top three, really close to being the most famous Brazilian celebrity. And he was right here. In front of *my* house.
Of course, I'm not a fan or anything and I don't watch his show, but it's really hard not to be star struck. Because, seriously, it's Gustavo Liberato in front of my house. A person I would never meet otherwise. And he's good looking in person.
He arrived with a huge scourt, climbed out of his van with microphone in hand and camera on him, already speaking into it, saying that the lady over there won the makeover.
I don't need to say that the noise level climbed exponentially with that. The bunch of people outside turned into *hundreds* all screaming in fan delight, which was very amusing for a person that never watched this man's show. I was right above, with the *best* view a person can get, the only one besides the lucky women that own the house, and of course the filming crew, that could see him inside the backyard, filming the whole thing.
Then a bunch of strong guys in construction hats came in screaming with huge hammers and started taking the whole place down. The dust, of course, came all into *my* house.
Then he was gone. While he was filming, he was his usual self anyone can see on TV. Then, when he was done, he took off his black shirt, leaving only the also back T-shirt underneath. I need to add that it's very hot today and it's 30C right now. He was very nice to the fans, waved at them and then shouted that he would be back. Everyone went nuts and I hid inside my house.
And that's the weirdest thing I ever saw. Also, he was the first famous person I ever met, and if I got shaky seeting a guy which I'm not even a fan of and don't really like (not that I have anything against him) I wonder what would happen if I ever got to meet Joe Flanigan.

I found my cell!!! It had fallen from my pocket in the taxi I took Saturday. Since I always ride with the same driver, I decided to give him a call to see if he had seen it and YEAH! OMG!!! It's such a relief!
More happiness today because I've decorated the school with the Halloween theme. It's very basic, just a lot of cut black bat shapes all over the walls, but it made me feel like I accomplished something. Now I'll have to do it again tomorrow in the other school.
I watched SPN's ep Faith and it made me happy.
I cooked. Nothing fancy, and not the best tasting food either, but it means I didn't spend money. Of course my food is crap and I'm hungry again already, but I'll just look at the positive side for now.
I'll rent DVDs on my way home today. I'm thinking about watching HP 5 and 6 again. And then I'll re-read the 7th book.
My mom wants me to burn a DVD with the eps of SPN season 5 that have aired already. *g* She's turning into a fangirl. xD Also, she's re-watching the eps of S1 on TV everyday.

Fandom stuff
Oct. 13th, 2009 11:21 amLong weekend yay! I spent the Monday holiday at home, doing nothing but read fanfic, catch up on my shows and watch bunches of stuff.
I'll start with SGU. I wasn't going to watch, but then I figured that if I want to have an opinion, I should at least be able to say that it's trully mine and not borrowed from other people. I major waste of time. I was bored throughout the whole thing and looked at the watch every ten minutes.
I saw SPN too. Fun MotW ep, which was a little refreshing to see. The boys needto get their mindss away from the apocalipse sometimes. Didn't see any reviews around, so I guess it's no one's fave ep. Still, I saw it twice for some reason.
I saw ST again XD *grins*
I saw a lot of Harry Potter too. I wanted to see the last two movies, but mom doesn't have then, so I watched the second, third and fourth ones.
I spent the rest of my time reading an amazing fic by
hells_half_acre. It's a SPN and HP crossover and it's so well written that really looks like both universes could co-exist. I'm really wary of crossovers because they are generally lame or make one of the fandoms look better than the other, or because they usually have characterization issues not to mention character bashing, but this one is unbelievably good on all accounts. It's very well thought of and has a bunch of stuff to leave fans of both shows squeeing with madness. It explains how both societies exist in the same universe, the differences, and it has all the possible interactions that you can imangine, all very well done. It's set mid SPN season 4, but it contain spoilers through the end of that season, and in HP verse, it takes place several years after the last book, so it contains spoilers for everything. I really recommend this fic. It's gen, no pairings, except canon HP pairing which are not the focus of the story. It has Dean whump and a lot of angst because Dean + Dementors = Erika!SQUEE like mad. Dean fans will love it! I want to see more Demeontors feeding on Dean now, please. It also has some Harry whump if anyone likes it.
The fic master post is here. It's called Damned Demented Demons, it's really long (103,000 words, 33 chaps I think), but the post has a downloadable version, which I'll get because this fic deserves printing.

Thoughts on SPN
Sep. 29th, 2009 01:45 pmFirstly, I found a whumpy Dean LJ comm:
sickdean. This makes me happy. Are there any more comms for hurt/comfort Dean fics? I really want to know.
Secondly, I'm fully caught up with the events on Supernatural up to the last aired episode of season 5 and I'm anxiously waiting for the next one that for me will be available on Friday. ^_^
Now, some thoughts on a few things. Beware of season 5 spoilers, but only for aired episodes. I'm a spoilerphobe and don't want to know any of the speculation about unaired eps.

Confessions
Sep. 28th, 2009 02:00 pmI confess that I haven't seen an episode of SGA in a couple of weeks. I also confess that I haven't thought about Shep all that much lately. I confess that I can't stop thinking about SPN. I confess that I love SPN as much as I love SGA. And I confess that I deleted some SGA icons to make room for SPN ones. I confess that I want to know everything there is to know about the show. I confess that I find Dean at least as whumpable as Shep.
But now I have finally caught up with season five and will watch ep 1 tonight. *squees* Hopefully this will give me time to make up with Shep. But I confess that I'm glad I found some new squee. Ever since SGA was cancelled, the squee has been lost. It's good to have it back in full blown fangirly proportions. I never thought it would come back. At least the writers in SPN are not afraid of breaking their toys. I like broken boys. *huggles angsty Dean*

I finally got to season four. I just watched ep 2. ^_^ I just want to say a few things before I explode. The angst in this show KILLS ME! In the good way. Yeah. Also, Dean whump is good. And I may be whumping him in a fic I'm supposedly writing.
My mom passed by my house and took seasons 1 and 3, because she wants to catch up. She saw all of season 2 and got hooked. I can't believe I hooked my mom into SPN.
I can't wait to finishing this season so I can move on to season 5 and get to squee with everybody else.

I still need those SPN icons...
Sep. 3rd, 2009 04:20 pmYep. Still watching SPN. And guess what? I'm really tempted to buy the DVDs. They are as expensive as SGA's, but since I don't have the SPN eps in my computer, I think they should be a priority. *headdesk* So, this month, I'll study my finances VERY carefully to see if I can afford the first two seasons.
Uh. I saw ep 13 today. Still addicted. Also I LOVED the Dean whump in that episode with the heart attack (I can't seem to memorize names, it's the one with the Grim Reaper). I'm beginning to feel he's almost as good as Sheppard. I mean REALLY good. Also, I may or may not have put a few words down on SPN fic. *denies*
My brother is rewatching SGA. He saw The Return parts I and II yesterday.
Oh yes! My team won yesterday! *commemorates* *throws confetti* We're close to be going to the playoffs. Yay!

TRICAMPEÃO!!!
Jul. 2nd, 2009 10:45 amWooooooooo!!! My team won the Brazil Cup!!! Wooooooooooooooo!!!
*runs around shouting TRICAMPEÃO!*
*clears throat*
Ahem, on the writing front... well it's been hard finding time. When I have a little time I don't have the inspiration. Why, oh, why do I find finishing fics so hard? This is likely the last chapter and it's just NOT happening! I also sense a demand for lots of comfort, but I hate writing the comfort part. *cries* I don't wanna leave the team all banged up, but thinking about good doses of final comfort is almost impossible for me. Then feeling that I hadn't spread the whump love enough (I may have concentrated on a certain Lt Colonel, ahem), I added an extra scene to whump another favorite whumpee (a certain astrophysicist) and now I don't know what to do with the aftermatch of that. After all, he's not the only one affected by that scene. I have to think of the consequences to all the team. Maybe I should just erase some parts and tone it down a bit. Would that be just cheating? I'm near the point of not caring if it is or if changing that scene will ruin the ending. I just want to finish this damn fic already so I can move on to other projects. *kicks fic*
Okay, let's concentrate on the good things:

I NEED MY INTERNET BACK!!!
May. 14th, 2009 11:32 amI'm still Internetless back home. I called the phone company and they said the guy would come yesterday. Well, guess what? He didn't. Then I called again and they said Saturday. This is so typical. *cries* I need my net back. I can't remain online all the time at work because, well, I have to work. *kicks stupid phone company*
*sighs*
Well, I guess I should update this LJ on more than yelling and complaining, so on I go.
I had a very interesting dream last night.

Some Soccer Happiness
May. 8th, 2009 08:47 amYou can totally skip this post. I'm just posting a lot of team love and happiness, because Corinthians ROCKS and I love my team more than anything. In fact it's very possible that I love Corinthians more than Shep whump. If I had to choose between watching a soccer game and a brand new Shep-whump-filled episode, the soccer game would win, hands down, no chance for poor, poor Shep. *sniff*
( Some Corinthians LOVE vids )
On other news, I'm going to the real state agency to sign the contract and get the keys of my new apartment. We are nearly all packed to go. *nervous*

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Apr. 19th, 2009 07:23 pmWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
My throat hurts so bad from screaming!
WE ARE IN THE FINALS!!!
My team won!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I watched at my mom's on her 42 inches LCD TV and it was awesome!!! Even Gabriel yelled and commemorated with us! LOL! He already knows the team's name and yells "Timão Goool" when sees the symbol of the team. I also have to say that he's just the cutest thing ever. He adores me to death! He yells my name from far and runs and jumps and laughs and yells my name some more. He's got a lot of energy, lol. Then at the end of the game, he called his father to tell his team won, lol. His father is a GREAT fan of Corinthians too, so the boy is always in good company. xD
The only thing is that now I have a sore throat, lol.
The only unhappy person in the house is my brother, a fan of the *other* team, lol. I can't wait to see his face and see all the excuses he'll have ready to explain the defeat.
*iz grinning like a loon*
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
*runs around in small circles*
*scream*
*yells*
*runs some more*
*bounces*
WE WOOOOOOOONNNN!!!!!
Go team!!!
That was one of the most tense and amazing soccer games EVER!!! We won at exact 30 seconds away from the end.
OMG!!!
Just three more games between us and the title!
