I got the job. Yeah! Now, I have to go to the other school and tell them I won't be getting any classes this semester. They haven't started the semester yet and just got back from the holiday break, but I think they are already working an teacher's schedule, so I hope they won't get too mad for saying this so out of nowhere. The thing is that it all happened so fast, and during the break, so I didn't get the chance to talk to them. I think there won't be any problem, because I told them last year that I didn't know how my life would be in 2008. *hopes*

I start tomorrow. Fast huh? I'll start from scratch on the 7am classes (just delicious, when I think of the time I'l need to wake up at Sats...), then I'll get another's teacher's class, which could give problems, because I'm the fourth teacher they had since they begun. And I don't know about the others yet, but it looks like it'll be six classes (each twice a week). And they actually pay for the bus, unlike the other school.

I'm really liking this school. Their method is a little different, but I really like it. I spent the afternoon and night (from 1pm to 9:30pm) watching the other teacher and even gave one review class with a few games. I like the fact that it's all in English, even for those that don't know a word in English. Pressure there. I like that I'll have to do a lot of mime during the job, lol.

So, if I don't show up for a few days, it's because I'm busy, planning, and studing, and working, and planning, and studing, and... oh yeah, working. *loves work*

It's holiday today. Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932. The day a revolution began to bring down the dictatorship of president Getulio Vargas. I don't really know much about it because I really suck at history. I know I learned at school and that I'm supposed to know, but I don't. All I knew when I woke up was that it was holiday and I didn't even know what July 9th meant until I googled it to be able to post it on LJ. I know... not a very responsible citizen of my country. What can I do? I hate history. But even being a holiday I opened the office today. After all, it costs me nothing to simply leave my front door opened. Of course no one came, so I made icons.

I starting to develop serious issues with so much free time on my hands... I watch Stargate, make icons, go to GW, but with this lack of spoilers I getting really bored real fast... I started playing The Sims 2 now. Spent a couple of days last week completely immersed in the game. I gave it a break today to do some cleaning. Lot's of work that were finished too soon. I can't believe I'm actually complaining about not having enough cleaning to do. I brought my whole closet from my mum's yesterday and spent night and morning organizing it, but I don't have a lot of things... this house is feeling like home now. I have all my clothes with me now.

I wish the weekend was not over... I spent a great time with my family on my sister's baby shower. I ate so much I'm still exploding, and that was 24h ago. I brought enough food left from the party to last until the end of the week and haven't stopped eating... my mom keeps telling me I'm too thin. She surely knows how to make me eat a lot. I'm afraid I'll turn into a ball if I eat all that she made for me and I'm not afraid to tell that I'm really enjoying it.

Now I'm thirsty and I my fresh water is over... I have to go look for a open market to buy another gallon. I hope there is something open now. It's getting dark.
