CORINTHIANS CHAMPION OF LIBERTADORES 2012

The most important game in the history of Corinthians has ended. After 102 years, finally, Corithians fans can say the curse is broken with the 2 BEAUTIFUL goals scored by Emerson, our national hero, winner, record-breaker and a champion in every team he goes to.

Next year: Chelsea in Japan.

Now we can say we have every title it's possible for a South American team to have.

Happiest day in a fan's life.

Okay, I saw this movie on Sunday and I still have no words for it. I have read many wonderful reviews that express everything I think and feel a million times better than I can hope to express.

Every time I think about this movie my mind just goes



before it shuts down from awesome overload.

Let me see if I can express my love for this movie: it's the awesomest awesome that ever awesomed in the history of awesome. Think of something awesome then put a thousand more awesomes in it and it still won't be as awesome as this movie.

It's perfect and flawless. Everyone has their own space to shine. The Hulk STOLE the movie. I was really so worried about Mark Ruffalo, but he totally pulled it off. The Black Widow was another concern, but she was totally kick ass too and the actress was able to show the depth of her character. I really don't know anything about the comic books and she had me very intrigued about her past and her story with Hawkeye. They NEED to make that movie! Loki was creepy and sad, Thor was great being a little torn about the love for his brother and his need to save the planet and I don't think I need to say anything about RDJ. He's always awesome. And lastly, here is Teh Captain. The only thing I need to say is that he is my favorite from now on. I'm sorry, Tony, you are great and amazing, but the Cap stole my heart.

DOCTOR WHO IS COMING TO BRAZILIAN TV! LIFE IS PERFECT NOW! I HAVE A NEW FAVORITE CHANNEL!

I'd like to leave big squishy hugs for leesa_perrie and timespirit for being awesome and giving me extra userpic space till 2013. OMG! *jumps up and down* I keep uploading icons and the space is neverending!!!

Also, I found out there'll be another Supernatural convention in Brazil next year and the confirmed guests are Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard, Mark Pellegrino and Richard Speight Jr (AKA Gabriel). O.M.G. I NEED TO GO. Of course, I won't unless I win in the lottery in the next three months. I can't buy the bronze pass (access to the pannels only) because they are only for students and the silver is way too expensive for me. There is also the issue that it'll be in Rio de Janeiro, so I'll have to include airplane tickets in the expenses too. =(

I'M DYING HERE! T_T

I finally got to see the first episode of Miracle Day thanks to my brother. I managed to see it twice before writing this post and I can say that I really liked it.

Unspoilery parts first.

Miracle Day is dark. It’s darker than Children of Earth, but in a good way. It's a more real kind of Torchwood and it is ideal for a new audience. It has references for the old fans, but it also explains a lot of stuff for the new viewers without getting boring for those that already know how the show works. We've got old faces and new faces to ground each section of the viewership. As an old fan I didn't find it rushed or overly explanatory in any way and was intrigued to find out more, the main goal of a first episode. In a way it feels more like a spinoff than a new season.

The fans that didn't like Children of Earth can give this a try, but don’t think this season will be the same as the ones before. The Welsh roots are still there, but it’s a bigger picture now and a larger scale. The budget certainly looks bigger. There’s more action and, dare I spoil you, more explosions. It’s more of an American show now, but it still has references of the past and the episode certainly had a lot of welshness in it too. It’s an interesting mix and I’m eager to find out how it’ll continue throughout the season.

Of course, we have the new additions to the team. Personally I liked both CIA agents, Rex and Esther, but I’m still unsure about Doctor Juarez. She seems competent enough in the parts she appeared. Old characters are changed from their experiences in the previous season and I can’t talk about that in more detail without going into spoilers, so it continues under the cut.

Overall, I thought it was an effective first episode, making me curious to figure out other layers of the problem in next episodes and making me realize that I did miss the good ol’ show.

Yay!! I got a brand new smartphone today and it´s the prettiest thing evar!!!

I'll try to keep up with my flist now that I have some kind of connection with the rest of the world.

New home is going well. A relief to finally have a place and not share it with anyone. I manage to keep it clean! And nobody messes it up!

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews for this episode, which is kind of expected. I liked it a lot, but it's hard to find an episode of any of my favorite shows that I don't like. I'm pretty easy to please. I'll start with a non-spoilery review.

This episode was more of a parody than a meta. I've seen people taking it far too seriously and hating it because of that. People, it's just an episode. It's a parody, it is NOT reality. So much so that they got actors to play pretty much everyone from behind the scenes rather than have the real guys there. Really, some people need to figure out the difference between what's real and what's fiction and stopping saying s*** like that this ep means the series will be cancelled soon and that things are going bad in the studio.

That said, I found this episode to be very entertaining and funny. I LOL-ed in many parts. It was pretty easy to figure out most parodies and exaggerations. There were some fun references meant exclusively for the fans, including plenty of Misha Collins tweets, some of which that appeared in the actor's own twitter account this morning. Gotta love him.

I loved that they wrapped everything into the arc of the season and I really hope we'll get to see more of this soon. This seems to be a big aspect of it, but we only managed to get a few glimpses so far.

I need to watch it again to form more coherent thoughts and remember the parts I left out. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. I'm too tired and worked too much today.

BTW, I rented Friday The 13th with Jared Padalecki. I never watched any Friday 13th movies before. *wonders what the Winchesters would find of it*

Guess who has fast broadband again? It's not *the* fastest internet but I can watch youtube vids again!!! The only problem is that we have two computers and one modem. We need money to buy that wi-fi thingie.

About time the phone company accepted our request. We've been trying for well over a year. It's so stupid that you need to sign up for a phone landline in order to have internet. Now we don't need. Why would we want a landline? We don't use it. Cell phones are more than enough.

Off to *find* that new Supernatural episode!

I have seen all of Sherlock. NO FREAKING WORDS!!!

How can I bear the wait? How can something get me totally and utterly addicted and obsessed in just three episodes? Actually the utterly addicted and obsessed came with the first ep. THESE GUYS ARE EVIL GENIUSES.

Yes, I'm actually looking forward more for Sherlock than for Doctor Who. Can you believe it? I seriously hope we get a proper full series.

Also, tomorrow is my nephew's third birthday. CAKE!
