NOTES ABOUT DOCTOR WHO - TIME OF ANGELS

* Who is River Song? For real? My brain hurts thinking about all the wibbly wobbly timey wimey thingy. I sure hope she's not his wife. Sometimes she acts as if she's a Time Lord too, but I don't want her to be that. Though I DO like how she puts the Doctor on edge. He's SO uncomfortable around her. Heh.

* Is she from the 51st century like Jack? Her attitude sure looks like it. If so, is she a time agent? We know she's an archaeologist and she does seem to know a lot of things about a lot of things, including skills to break into vaults and spaceships and look like she's done it loads of times. What kind of archaeologist is this? And what was that whole thing about being in prison? How does she know the Gallifreyan language? How does she know how to fly the TARDIS? Who taught her? I don't think the Doctor would ever share SO MUCH with a woman and I don't really like the idea of the Doctor being madly in love and getting married.

* I like that Amy is very clever and that she's able to get out of trouble on her own without screaming for the Doctor to help all the time. Blinking one eye at a time was pretty smart and so was pausing the video. The thing that stayed in my mind is the bit about the eyes. I immediately thought that if you look into the angel's eyes you'll create an image of it (the reflection) and hence create a new angel inside you. When Amy started messing with her eye that thought was reinforced. And then again when I saw the trailer for next week.

* I like that Amy says that she's not that clingy. I like that they have a friends relationship that isn't romantic or shippy in any way and it's really kind of sweet. I did love Donna more than Martha and Rose exactly because she wasn't in love with him. She just liked to go out in adventures with him, have a good time and laugh. As simple as that. No secret love or strings attached. Amy is like that too.

* I like that this regeneration of the Doctor made him a bit more over the whole lonely angel thing. I do love some Doctor!angst, but seriously it was getting repetitive with RTD. By the end of End of Time I was almost screaming at him to just get over with already. This is a Doctor that is recovering from all the evil things that happened during the RTD era. That said, if something real bad happens again, there is no telling what kind of reaction it would cause. He could get worse, or he could just shrug it off and keep on going.

* It's not a good idea to watch this episode alone at night like I did. Those statues were scary as hell.

* I liked when the Doctor bit Amy. I loved the head touch he did before that.

* I love Matt Smith's faces and clumsiness.

* River Song looked really pretty.
