I decided to go ahead with this idea I had some time ago about making my own website. I spent all my free time these last couple of days preparing it, and now it's up. Sort of. Most of the links still don't take anyone anywhere and I only posted one of my fics there, but it's a work in progress. I had so much fun doing it. Not so much fun finding a host, though.

To commemorate this, I decided to revise my earlier fics as I post them there. I have already finished with Devil Inside. Wow, it's amazing how good you feel when you fix your own stuff thinking, 'I really wasn't all that good, was I?' It was very refreshing. And I had forgotten how much I had enjoyed writing that story. I'm now working on revising Dog Tags before posting that too. I'll try to do most of that tomorrow to use my free Sunday.

I'll keep the main page updated with my progress. So far, it has only one fic up, but it is completely uploaded. I'll keep my LJ updated too.

I made all of this website myself, coding every single line of the pages. I didn't use any software besides wordpad and it's made me very proud. This is one of the reasons why uploading the fics will take time. I need to make a new page for each one and code the HTML all over again. LJ doesn't help much, because it doesn't use paragraph tags and I don't know any other way of coding HTML that is not going over each line of each fic and inserting them all manually.

Happiness because:

I spent yesterday's free time at the school to study HTML and CSS and I loved it! I found an excellent tutorial about it, which can make even the most webdumb person create websites in under a week. Then, I went and read half of the Complete CSS Guide, which is completely awesome.

I found downloadable Portuguese translations of the guides above. xD

I received my Torch-sticks Christmas card, with Jack and Doctor love! It's totally made of win!!! I'm totally in love with it! It shall remain under my Christmas tree for the rest of eternity for as long as I live.
