Doctor Who Series 6 Trailer. Beware Teh!Awesome.

It's been a week since my phone was taken =(. But I managed to find a great replacement, way better than my old one and with a GREAT plan. I'm almost glad my phone was stolen. I'm obsessed with it already. It can read PDFs so it means I can read! I've got a WHOLE CD with Star Wars books (literally hundreds of them) just waiting to be read. It also can play vids, which means I can watch full eps. All of which means less Sunday boredom when I go to my mom's.

Since I'm in the subject of boredom, I'd like to rec a fic. I don't usually go for crossovers, but since it was small, I decided to give it a try. It's AMAZING! It's Doctor Who/Stargate (SG1 and SGA) and it's brilliant. It's a collection of moments on how each character would react to seeing the TARDIS. It's fun to try to guess who it is before it's revealed. They're all spot on, including John's.

Is it been so long? Really? RL has been a bit crazy. I'll start by saying that YES, I am aware that I didn't close the latest round at sga_lfws. I was made aware a few days ago and I PROMISE I will count those half dozen votes still today. I'd help immensily if some of you guys would drop by and vote. It's just three little fics, and the prompt was to write a five things fic.

Now I'm finally on vacations, starting today. And the first things I did were: (1) buy a LOT of chocolate and (2) order a new camera. Yes, I know, spending money, but I simply could not resist. It was a very good deal. On both cases.

I have plans for vacations. Plans that got me really excited and in a frenzy since Saturday (I went to bed at 3AM doing it XD). I'm making my own EFL student book (in case you don't know, EFL stands for English as a Foreign Language). I don't intend on having it published, but I indend on having it printed and use it with my private students. It's turning out SO PRETTY! Oh I wish I had samples, but I'm doing it in my own computer (which doesn't have internet access) instead of this one which is my brother's. The problem is that my bro's computer doesn't have MS Word 2007 and the layout breaks completely if I open the file in another program. I need to solve this issue because to continue writing it, I'll have to choose between Word 2007 or internet, and internet usually wins. I wonder if I could borrow it from the school I work, it's a computer school after all.

I'm also catching up on Doctor Who because, shame on me I know, I still didn't watch all of the Eccleston episodes, nor all of Tennant's. Next on the list is Aliens of London.

TO DO LIST FOR VACATIONS:

*Arrange a copy of Office 2007

Let's see how successful I will be. Garanteed is the part which talks about eating chocolate. XD

My muse is being so nice today!!! I have one River Song banner for the episode Time of Angels and quote from Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead because she is awesome.

I finally saw the new episode.

This post will probably end up being a bunch of disconnected thoughts, but then it could end up epically long or short. I don't know. I just thought I should post something, even though I have no idea what.

I've been cooking. I cooked dinner the day before yesterday. It was just french fries (or chips because I really like that word and because it's in Doctor Who), but it was actually the best ones I ever made. Not that they should be hard to make. But me being me, that's excellent progress. They accompanied a cheeseburger with bacon that was actually bought at the supermarket.

Today I made a full meal with rice (that kind that has carrots and potatoes and peas in) that actually did taste good (first time EVAR), some cooked eggs, tomato salad and fired chicken (which was also delicious). I also made pudding which will be eaten in a few moments. It also turned up great.

All in all I'm really surprised. I mean really!

I saw Iron Man 2 last week. Or was it the week before? Anyway, I liked it. Initially I thought the first one was better, but I might have to watch both again just to make sure. All I know is that RDJr doesn't hurt the eyes. Not the least bit.

I'm finally, slowly, making out of the hole I find myself in. I will be able to pay everything this month and I'm not late on the bills. Yay!

On the Doctor Who front. I'm almost turning to a spoilerwhore again. Almost. I keep out, but some things inevitably sneak in. I loving all the episodes and Matt Smith is turning out to be my favorite doctor. Who could have imagined? I loved Rory in the last episode and I'm really looking forward to more. Next week's looks interesting, but maybe a little too predictable. I hope I'm wrong.

Talking about episodes, I watched the Supernatural finale today. ( Spoilery talk )

Also, It's been really cold in here this week.

I'm thinking about dropping out of the challenges I signed up for. Things are simply not going in fic world. I was able to finish the AU Big Bang story and I really want to finish The World You Know one, but it may take some time.

I also haven't watched SGA in quite some time too. But I have been watching a whole lot of Doctor Who. I think my passion for the Doctor may have been renewed because I even caught myself watching episodes with Nine which I haven't done since the first go when getting into the show. I'm getting quite obsessed over it in fact. So that's just me moving on...

I've seen the new series 5 episodes lots of times and I have been making marathons with the episodes that I have. I also watched some Torchwood again. It's been fun. Finally, I have a show to be obsessed with. Since the cancellation of SGA things have been going slowly. This is followed by a major icon renovation and a new mood theme that needs to be used.

Still, I'm trying to find time to finish reading all those SGA fanfics. Sheppard whump is still good!

And I can't wait for the next ep of Doctor Who!
