Recap: Alexis, an abandoned lonely teenager lives on the streets, looking for scraps to trade for food and tries to save money to pay off her debt, which she managed to do after she found the abandoned fire station and used its facilities to learn painting and writing. She met a boy in school and made kissy faces while she wondered if she should tell him the truth about her existence. He was cool and loved her even though she only had the clothes on her back.

ALEXIS: Woohoo! I paid off my debt in the bank! Now, I only need to build a house.

ALEXIS: Oooooh, what's this sparkly thing?

VOICEOVER: Crap! Already? I can't get Alexis a job until I finish her house! I need an heir! I need Alexis to have a husband! I'm wasting valuable time here!

TADAH!

ALEXIS: Like a boss. I'm gorgeous!

ALEXIS: *continues to write*

VOICEOVER: That's my girl!

ALEXIS: I need money to get married!

VOICEOVER: You need money to build a house.

ALEXIS: I can't get married without a house.

VOICEOVER: If you get married he'll help you get money to build a house.

ALEXIS: *glomps*

CORNELL: Humph! *struggles* Light as a feather…

ALEXIS: Okay, here's the thing. Honesty. I learned that. I wanna marry you so you will gimme some money to finish my our house.

CORNELL: …

ALEXIS: So, look what I found!

CORNELL: Shinny!

CORNELL: Awwww, of course I want to share the burden!

They decide to do the ceremony right there and then.

In the dark.

In the middle of an empty lot.

But you got to admit it is pretty romantic.

ALEXIS: Erm… I don't have a bed to consummate our wedding…

CORNELL: No prob. I have some savings.

VOICEOVER: *counts pennies* *builds*

ALEXIS: *looks hopefully*

CORNELL: So? Enough?

VOICEOVER: *grumbles* I can make walls. But I get grant you access until I finish both rooms and furnish it with the basics. So… Maybe you can work something out?

ALEXIS AND CORNELL: *sad*

I think The Sims need motels.

So I had another idea. Ahem.

Not the most romantic place to woohoo in your wedding night, but it works.

Very well.

While they were busy, someone decided to show up and ROB ME! Really, all the lot had was a bench and a wall with no door.

Which the #$%@& took.

And then drove off IN HER CAR!

ALEXIS: *checks stomach* Interesting. Maybe I ate too much soup.

For me it was a shock because I didn't hear a lullaby and my sim didn't get sick even once.

The next few days were spent doubling efforts to get the few simoleons left to finish their little corner of love.

ALEXIS: My stomach feels stranger than normal. It looks like it moves sometimes.

ALEXIS: Ouchie. That hurts.

ALEXIS: Ooooowwwww…

VOICEOVER: You'd better go to a hospital.

ALEXIS: *screams in agony* Maybe I shouldn't have eaten those rotten grapes I found in the trash.

It seems the stomachache wasn't just a stomachache. Look what the doctors found inside.

BABY: What's this huge thing in my face!? *chomps* Yum!

CORNELL: Ooops.

I managed to hurry up the construction just in time for them to get home with the baby. What a relief!

Bed.

Money making and baby corner.

Kitchen.

Inside.

Cuteness.

ALEXIS: You are cuter than a puppy!

ALEXIS: I shall call you Chiara and you shall be mine!

And because I forgot:

Cornell Cotrim: Clumsy, daredevil, excitable, virtuoso, vegetarian.

CORNELL: *parenthood shock*

With a house, now we have bills!

CORNELL: *grumbles*

Chiara Cotrim: Neurotic and absent minded.

First meal in the new house.

ALEXIS: *excited to cook* YAY! VEGETABLES!

While Alexis cooks, Cornell went to check out his new baby girl. CUTENESS!

CORNELL: Do you look like mommy or daddy?

CORNELL: Who's daddy's little girl? *iz silly with happiness*

This parenting thing is pretty tiring as Alexis can now see.

Sorry for the broken walls.

CORNELL: What did she put there?

Alexis was exhausted from the labor and decided to take a nap.

Meanwhile, Cornell helped with the income.

ALEXIS: Now that we finally have a house, we have a very important issue of taking care of the chores. I cook, you take care of the baby.

CORNELL: But taking care of the baby is much more difficult that cooking!

ALEXIS: I know. *sighs* I'll try to get a job.

CORNELL: I'm sure you'll do great.

Alexis was able to find a job at the bistro and would start in the very next day.

The end of a long eventful day.

Dreaming about their shinny new house.

But not for long.

ALEXIS: Am I not going to get any sleep anymore?

And back to bed.

A good breakfast before going to work.

And she starts her career ladder.

She comes back full of ideas. It seems the best chefs have their own gardens. So she wants to start one.

A walk in the night to find more seeds and she stumbles on a snake. This being Alexis, she runs towards it, all excited and rolls a wish to take her home. *headdesk*

She uses the money she got from her first day of work to buy this huge thing here.

Then spends some time watching Dante, the snake.

And another good night of sleep.

Or maybe not.

We finish this installment with Alexis freaking out over the prospect of never sleeping even though she has a roof and a comfy bed. She looks quite scary.
