THE SIMS: The Cotrim Legacy - 1.1

If you remember, this is Alexis Cotrim, an abandoned teenager trying to survive the harsh conditions that life has imposed on her. For an introduction read this post.





The first thing she sees after getting over the shock of losing her sister (and also her memory since she doesn't seem to quite grasp the gravity of the situation), is a puppy. As per excitable nature she decides to pick it up to play.

ALEXIS: Look! A puppy! *squeezes puppy*



But the poor thing seems to be terrified of her and ran off.

ALEXIS: Forever alone. T_T

So I guess it's time to try something different.



If you want food, you need to catch it first. This is a completely new neighborhood for me and I looked for vegetables around but couldn't find any. Humph. So fishing it is.

ALEXIS: But fish!?

VOICEOVER: Just do it if you don't want to starve!



After hours, Alexis had absolutely no success. At all.

ALEXIS: *fails at fishing*

This is going to be harder than I thought. Night comes and the only thing around is a deer, but apparently in this game you are not allowed to hunt these things and use it to eat.

ALEXIS: Look! A deer! *runs off to see it* Awwwwwww. *loves*



So, from the little money she made going through some trash, she goes grocery shopping. Just to get enough apples to last a few days.

ALEXIS: Day one and instead of making money, I spend it. Erm, not going according to plan here.

VOICEOVER: IT'S YOUR FAULT! YOU AND YOUR CRAPPY FISHING SKILLS!

ALEXIS: T_T



Night is long, dark and cold.



Alexis constantly wakes up, sometimes hungry, some other times for mysterious reasons. There are animals everywhere and she seems to like them way more than she should.

ALEXIS: *chomp chomp* Yum yum!

An apple later and she's back to bed. Erm, bench.



The day breaks and she needs to go to school. She hopes she does not smell too bad and hops into the bus, all alone as the other teenagers find her a bit repulsive at the moment.

ALEXIS: They're just stupid because they don't know who the star of this story is.

VOICEOVER: That'll depend on whether you start catching some fish!

ALEXIS: T_T Forever alone.



ALEXIS: Look! A kitty! *runs to pick it up*

VOICEOVER: Uh, you remember what happened the last time, right?

KITTY: *runs away*

ALEXIS: T_T Forever alone!



It looks like Alexis finds the swimming pool a much better place to wash herself than the public shower. That may be the reason nobody is entering the pool.

VOICEOVER: Hello-o! Shouldn't you be doing something to fix you small money issue?



VOICEOVER: Ah, that's better!



ALEXIS: Look! Look! Look! My first fish evar! I shall name it Fishy and it shall be mine! *huggles Fishy*

VOICEOVER: MONEY! MONEY! SELL IT! SELL IT!

ALEXIS: T_T NOOOOOO!!!!

In the end I was able to convince her to give Fishy away to a much better place that may or may not have been inside someone's stomach. I promised her she would one day have an aquarium with plenty of fish inside. But after she's rich enough to waste money on decour.



ALEXIS: Why do I have to do homework on top of all the work I already have? Life is so unfair!

VOICEOVER: If you want to be successful, good grades are necessary.

ALEXIS: BUT WHY IS IT SO HARD???

VOICEOVER: C'mon! Are you done already? Those garbage cans will not empty themselves!



ALEXIS: *grumble grumble* Okay…



CREEPY NEIGHBOR: You yeti! Get out of my property!

ALEXIS: B-but I was just… erm… uh… looking for… erm… some seeds. Yes, that's it! Seeds! Nothing creeping whatsoever.

CREEPY NEIGHBOR: I will call the police!

ALEXIS: *leaves* Forever alone. T_T



On the next day, there appeared to be some kind of horsey conference in town because they all decided to show up right next to Alexis' empty lot, along with some long tailed friend of theirs.

ALEXIS: Look! Horses! *loves*

She decided on that moment that she would adopt all abandoned animals she could, feeling empathy for their poor family-less situation and set that as her LTW. *headdesk*

VOICEOVER: It's not time to adopt anything yet! You don't even have a house! Or food! Or a bed! Or anything!

ALEXIS: Forever alone. *cries* T_T



NICE NEIGHBOR: Hai! Nice to meet you! Are you the new neighbor?

ALEXIS: I'm was totally NOT going through your trash. I was just walking by and looking at the pretty horseys.

NICE NEIGHBOR I FORGOT THE NAME: Great, want to come in?

ALEXIS: Erm… sure.



ALEXIS: *amazed by the pretty images*

NICE NEIGHBOR: So, what's your story?

Why did she have to make that question? Poor Alexis just used that cue to pour away all the facts that had happened to her so far.



ALEXIS: BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. BLAH BLAH. And then I found a very expensive jewelry in the trash can. Can you believe it? Who would throw jewelry in the garbage? Crazy huh?

NICE BORED NEIGHBOR: *rolls eyes* Yeah, I know who is the crazy one. /whisper



ALEXIS: *goes on and on* And then I made just enough money to buy ONE apple in the supermarket. It was really tasty.

NEIGHBOR: *thinks* maybe if I look normal she will leave.

After watching some TV and stealing some food off her fridge, Alexis decided it was time to go home before the police arrived. The sirens were an indication she was not welcomed to this neighbor's home.



ALEXIS: Look! Butterflies!

VOICEOVER: *headdesk* Why must you run towards all moving things you see?

ALEXIS: *catches*

VOICEOVER: *sells*

ALEXIS: T_T Forever alone!

VOICEOVER: *grumbles* Only miserable $31 bucks. Still $879 short to repay debt. *grumbles*



Oooops. Looks like someone forgot about the curfew.

ALEXIS: If only I had someone that understood me... T_T

Teenagers…. Always so dramatic.



ALEXIS: Hi! You are Cornell from school, right?

CORNELL: Hai strange stinky person!

They spent the entire afternoon talking to each other, but Alexis was a bit afraid of telling her story after what happened last time.



ALEXIS: I like beds. Beds are cool. I sleep on a bed every night. *lies*

CORNELL: Uh, okay.

And on the next day she was able to act normal long enough to be invited to Cornell's house after school.



ALEXIS: Oooooh, nice house!



ALEXIS: And you live here.

CORNELL: Uh… Yes?

ALEXIS: All alone?



CORNELL: At the moment my sister is not home.

ALEXIS: Interesting.

VOICEOVER: *waves* Anyone see me?

ALEXIS AND CORNELL: *ignores voiceover*



ALEXIS: Having walls is so good. Not that I don't have walls. I so do. *continues lying* I bet we could even hold hands without anyone seeing.

CORNELL:<3



CORNELL: Yes, we could.

ALEXIS: <3



ALEXIS: *kissy face*

CORNELL: Erm… what's that? *points at random direction*

ALEXIS: Forever alone T_T



ALEXIS: Alternate tactic needed.

Alexis decided to try alternate tactics the very next day at the fire station where she started hanging out most of time.



ALEXIS: *massages*

CORNELL: *pleased smile*

ALEXIS: *kissy face*



ALEXIS: *smack*

CORNELL: Mmmmm



ALEXIS: Mmmmmm

CORNELL: Mmmmmm



CORNELL: If I had known it would be this good I'd have done it sooner.

ALEXIS: *more kissy faces*



ALEXIS: *wonders if she should tell Cornell the truth*

VOICEOVER: Look! You're getting better at painting! They are worth more now!

ALEXIS: *wishes to go steady with Cornell*

VOICEOVER: You can't date now! We have priorities! A plan!

ALEXIS: *wishes to invite Cornell over*

VOICEOVER: Don't waste valuable time dating boys! MONEY! I'm dying here!

ALEXIS: I'm almost growing up. When I do I'll need a husband to make babies and build my empire! The sooner the better! And he could bring home some cash to help with the loan.

VOICEOVER: Buuut…. I don't know if that's allowed. *checks rules*

ALEXIS: If it's not there, then YES, IT IS!

VOICEOVER: If it's not specified, then it must be okay, right?

ALEXIS: Right! *settles*



Ooooops. Again.

ALEXIS: Forever alone. T_T *cries*

Alexis decides to go for it, risk it and tell Cornell the truth. Anything would be better than that lonely life.



CORNELL: But of course I forgive you. *kisses* I don't care about money. I care about you.

ALEXIS: *---* Oh, that's so romantic. *makes out*

Shortly after that I was able to repay the bank with money from painting and writing a book with Alexis' life story. Next, on Cotrim Legacy, we'll have making out, growing up and more trash can action, yay! And maybe even babies!
