Indiana Jones 4
May. 23rd, 2008 08:38 amFirst a general view without spoilers.
I watched Indy and I really liked. I know some people won't like as much, but I'm a geek and the movie, even with a few exaggerations (but that's normal), is a lot of fun! I won't spoil the fun, but there are some references for the previous films, Raiders in particular. Also, to follow the tradition of having loads of creepy things, snakes, bugs or rats, this one is not different. *shivers* I won't tell what it is, you'll have to find out yourselves, just be prepared, because it is creepy *shivers again*. The film doesn't stop, and even with some silly parts it's very cool.
It also has the typical amount of whump, though none of the comfort. Actually I got jealous of Shia, because he was more whumped than Indy.
Also, the sequences shot in Brazil are stunning! Funny that they shot the waterfalls that are way down in our map, and put them way up in the Amazon.... (and thus inventing a whole new geography...).
There's also a surprise thrown in the middle.
Now on to spoilers.
( The film starts right on the heart of matter with the typical amount of running, explosions, chases, whump and whip. )
