Kitten and training

A kitten showed up at my house today. A cute little white kitten. There I was, happily surfing in the web, when a little shape catches my eye. I raise my head and see a kitten entering my office. It must have come through the front door, which I leave open. After the front door, there is a staircase that leads to the waiting room, and there is a closed gate separating the outside from the inside, and the little thing just passed through the bars. And then started looking around and making itself comfortable. It followed me around, just very curious about everything. I tried to take it back out, but it just kept coming up the stairs and back inside the house. Because I couldn't just leave a cat wandering around the house and, most importantly, my dental office, I took it to my backyard. Gave it some bread and some milk. It's still there and it won't leave. It's very cute! I'll see if it's still outside tomorrow and then, if that's the case, I'll buy some cat food. Damn. I do want a pet, but I didn't think I should get one, you know, working and all...

Also, I received a call today saying that I have to go to some teaching training tomorrow from one of the schools I had been interviewed. It was very unespected. They are going to pay for meal and buses and I'll have to go to another city. Campinas is close to where I live, but there isn't any buses going directly there from here, so I'll have to go to São Paulo, then take another bus to Campinas. I have to be there at 1:30 PM, and I'll leave by 9AM to get there in time, and also have some time to have lunch. I half printed a map (my printer ran out of colored ink) and have the address and I hope I'm able to find the place... I'm a little nervous.

Damn! I can't forget to buy batteries tomorrow for the MP3 player. And please I can't forget to buy the cat food, otherwise I'll find a little cute starving kitten by night. *half hopes the kitten will stay*
