Recap: Alexis, an abandoned lonely teenager lives on the streets, looking for scraps to trade for food and tries to save money to make a better life. She married Cornell, got pregnant, finished her house and panicked over getting a job, not sleeping and not having money.

And we start by having Cornell and Alexis finally having some alone time together.

They use it to try to increase the family to have some heir options.

ALEXIS: Who's the cutest snake in whole wide world?

DANTE: *bites*

The first baby always has a birthday party when turning to toddler. The following ones rarely do.

CORNELL: *blows candles*

ALEXIS: Yay!

You can notice she is a bit thinner here. Her weight fluctuates throughout the entire game. I love it! I never had a chubby sim and I found Alexis quite hard to keep fit.

Chiara turned out very cute.

CHIARA: *crawls away from all the crazy people*

CUTENESS! Don't you love babies?

The party was quite good.

ALEXIS: *watches Chiara*

ALEXIS: Ooooow, I think I shouldn't have eaten so much cake.

And Alexis is chubby again. *sighs*

RANDOM GUEST: This is a very good party!

CORNELL: I know! I should start selling tickets!

ALEXIS: Oooowwww

ALEXIS: *bump*

ALEXIS: I have great news for you! We'll have our second child!

CORNELL: *parenthood shock*

He soon got over the shock and started feeling mommy's tummy.

While the new baby doesn't come, we have Chiara to look after.

ALEXIS: Good girl! Now we have to work on actually taking a step.

CHIARA: *iz proud of her accomplishment*

Dante, the snake.

Alexis rarely plays with him anymore after she got bit.

ALEXIS: Oooooowwww… after the second child one should think it'd be easier!

And the third. And the fourth. That's right. Freaking triplets. The first one I've ever got in the game.

Do not like the prospect.

CORNELL: We're screwed. No money and now FOUR kids to feed?

As you can see, I have no cradles and no space for them. I had to sell lots of stuff to make the money necessary for a WHOLE BUNCH OF BABIES!

Like that. /\

If one baby was bad, imagine what having three PLUS one will do to a couple. Sleepless nights forever.

CORNELL: Babies are like flies. They multiply and suddenly they are everywhere.

CHIARA: Poor daddy.

I'll skip the whole baby thing because it's just a whole lot of screaming and crying and mommy and daddy being in a very bad mood.

And through the magic of livejournal, we go straight to toddler phase. I'm terrible with names and appearances. It was really hard knowing who was who until they grew up.

Megan started very cute.

Danielle came with a red hair and I have NO idea where it came from. No one has this hair in either side of the family. She instantly became a favorite because I ALWAYS wanted to have a colored hair legacy in which my rule would be that the heir would be the first child with a colored hair. I may do this here and try to make red hair cool.

And Sarah. Without hair. It took me a while to change their looks. Sorry. I'm just lazy like that. Besides, my computer is crappy for some reason. It turned that one ever since Windows 7 was installed. The games freezes for no reason whatsoever and it's not because of graphics or anything. Everything shuts down out of nowhere and it's all Bill Gates' fault. I try to avoid making it think too hard.

BTW, it doesn't work. It still freezes.

CORNELL: *panics* WHY DOES SHE HAVE RED HAIR?

Oh, and that's Chiara growing up. She got the Ambitious trait.

Babyspamming time

Sarah and Danielle's makeover. Not much because my game was recently reinstalled and I still don't have any CC. Besides, I don't have any internet back home. Also, I still don't have all expansions and object collections. That will be remedied soon. I'm getting Late Night next, and soon after that I'll have Generations. Both hopefully in time for mid-generation 2 (which I'm playing now).

Now, let me go on a tangent and explain that even though I'd love to have an heir vote, I can't. My internet back home is the crappiest thing ever invented by mankind. 3G SUCKS! If it were possible to uninvent something they should do it to 3G. I'm already way into generation 2 right now but rarely get around to posting chapters. I leave everything ready with the post pre-written so I just have to hit a few buttons to have everything set up when I'm at work, but I usually have too many classes to squeeze even that little time. That's also the reason that I have to find a way through things that are new in later expansions without being able to resort to tuts, guides and walkthroughs easily found on the internet. If you guys see I'm doing things the hard way, just give me hint and knock me over the head.

I have moved to another town last year and it only has one good option of internet service and, of course, it ends up being expensive for being the only one available (I'm not counting 3G). When I have more cash, say when I win the lottery, I'll sign up for it. It'd be so good if we could use kaching and familyfunds in RL.

UPDATE: Computer is on the fritz. I had to argue with the store, then manufacturer, then the store again till I decided to seek legal help and DEMAND a new one that actually works. They have ten days to give me a new laptop and until then, I can’t play. I have tons of screencaps to work through (while I’m at work – in the break obviously, xD – I would never do that during work hours, uh-uh, nope), so there will be updates. Also, my progress is backed up in my external HD. I hope it works.

Now, going back to the Legacy…

Chiara seems to like this game.

Yup, she does.

They're getting pretty good at teaching toddlers.

Or maybe not so much.

Chiara decided she wanted to have a bird, so here it is. She spends days and nights playing with it. And why is it that they DON'T put the stupid bird back in the cage after they are done playing? FREAKING ANNOYING!

CHIARA: *loves*

Megan's turn now.

Now, Chiara seems to love little furry or featherly things even more than her mom and decided to adopt a bunch of pets.

We have another bird. I forgot the name.

A lizard thing and I also forgot his name.

And this squirrel thingy which is called… well, I forgot too. I think it's something similar to Ron's rat in Harry Potter, but, erm, I also forgot his name. You know, the one that turned out to be that, uh, guy? *headdesk* I really do suck at names.

The five new pets.

Alexis is happy for getting a full night's sleep for the first time. Ever!

She starts her daily routine of picking up each baby.

And taking care of them.

But then, by the time she finished with the first two, the third one is already screaming its lungs out and waking up everybody in this tiny house.

Alexis is not amused.

And neither is Chiara.

BTW, Chiara is pronounced ki-ah-rah with the R sound being pronounced like the way Americans pronounce the tt in ditto.

And another baby spam.

Look whose birthday it is!

Alexis is now a fully grown adult. With all the wrinkles a bunch of babies can give.

She still spends her time in her garden and now has perfect tomatoes and incredible apples.

Meanwhile, super daddy spends his time teaching the kiddies.

CHIARA: Mom, this bathroom is disgusting. We need a new and bigger one.

ALEXIS: I know, dear. I'll try to get another one now that I got a promotion.
