Place of birth?

I have a question concerning the fic I just went back to writing. Yep, you don't need to check your eyes, I am writing. Remember that fic The World You Know? I've added a few hundred words since yesterday and I need a bit of information about a certain Colonel.

I need his date and place of birth. It was never told on screen. For the date I intend on using something similar to Joe's own, but I don't have ideas on what to put in where. What do you guys think?
