A/N: Written following the drabble of the same name I wrote a long time ago. The damn plot bunnies wouldn’t leave my brain and I expanded it. Although the original drabble features character death, this story is not a death-fic.

DAYS 7 AND 8

Day 7, aka Christmas Eve

- Went to mum's, helped her because she got a busted hand from setting ten fighting dogs apart from the worst fight they ever had (the tip of her index finger was literally hanging loose with only skin holding it, *shudders*).

- Watched SGA on FX, The Kindred I and then Rising part II. Hate those commercials. But it was squee. My mom likes SGA too! But complained that every time she stops to watch it's Rising part II. Seriously, she must have seen that one about ten times.

- Saw Doctor Who on People & Arts. Doomsday. It was a different experience. I had never seen Dr. Who on TV before or seen the kind of subtitles they put on some terms. At first I had to stop and think which episode it would be because the guide said the name in Portuguese. A minute later I figured that the closest one to that translation would be Doomsday, and I was right. My mom said it was silly and boring. Can you believe that? Silly I'm okay with, but boring? She said Backyardigans was more exciting... *g* I just wish it could be a more uplifting episode for Christmas Eve.

- Dinner was soooooo good!!!

- My mom loved all the presents we gave her. Picking them was so much fun! The three of us choosing who would buy what, then competing for who would give first.

Day 8, aka Christmas Day

- I'm home, alone with my brother (who is sleeping), because I didn't want to go with mum and sis and etc to visit the relatives. Lots of loud screaming and talking with twenty people in the tiniest apartment isn't my idea of a fun Christmas. I'd rather spend it with my computer, reading Shep whump Secret Santa fics and watching SGA.

- And watching SGA is what I'm doing right now. Or rather, at this moment, only listening to it.

- Didn't get any new presents. The computer memory was all. Except for the panettone my boss gave me yesterday. Chocolate flavor. Yum! I wasn't going to have any this year for lack of money, so that was nice.

- Mum brought me lunch. Yum! Going to eat now.

- Had to do some house cleaning because this place is upside down. My brother, my sister, my brother-in-law and I spent two days here, and so... we are a little messy. Multiplied by 4. xD. You have no idea the things I had to throw away xD. That was kind of fun.
